Gina Sherwood Receives Festa Fellowship in Graduate School at SUNY Oswego

Gina Sherwood of Fulton recently received a unique professional leadership experience in her chosen field with the assistance of a Festa Fellowship in graduate school in art at SUNY Oswego.

Sherwood worked at BrewDog in Fraserburgh, Scotland,, micro-brewer and owner of a chain of bars, under the mentorship of James Watt last summer.

Festa Fellowships and Internships offer stipends to support outstanding SUNY Oswego graduate students who wish to pursue advanced leadership experiences in their fields of study. These positions are funded through the generous support of two alumni, Fred and Mary Lynn Barbero Festa, classes of 1981 and 1982, respectively.

SUNY Oswego's Division of Graduate Studies offers master's degree programs in business, education, counseling, art, English, human-computer interaction, history, chemistry and the Professional Science Master's in chemistry. It also offers graduate certificates, including initial teaching certification, integrated media and health-related certificates in gerontology, play therapy, trauma studies, integrated health systems and health information technology.
