Imani Gary Wins Scholarship at SUNY Oswego

Imani Gary of Brooklyn has won one of 12 Empire State Diversity Honors Scholarships this year at State University of New York at Oswego. The scholarship for students who will contribute to the diversity of the student body recognizes their promise for academic achievement.

She is a member of the class of 2015 majoring in English and creative writing at Oswego.

Admission to SUNY Oswego is competitive. U.S. News Media Group counts SUNY Oswego among the top public regional universities in the North for 2013, and the Princeton Review includes Oswego in its 2013 college guidebook "The Best Northeastern Colleges," as well as its 2013 list of "best value" colleges and universities nationally.
