Sara Donals of Liverpool honored at SUNY Oswego convocation

Sara Donals of Liverpool was honored at SUNY Oswego's recent 2017 Honors Convocation, receiving the Donald Snygg Graduate Scholarship.

Donals is a graduate student studying mental health counseling and pursuing a certificate in interdisciplinary trauma studies at Oswego. She plans to pursue licensure and a career as a mental health counselor on a college campus, and a doctorate in counselor education..

The formal ceremony, complete with a procession of faculty and college officers in full academic regalia, is sponsored each spring at Oswego by Vega, the women's honor society.

The audience included faculty, staff, students and students' family members. SUNY Oswego honored more than 100 students at the ceremony.
